Protect your home in all areas where wind can enter, and ensure that all windows and doors are protected with county-approved storm shutters.

Bring in all outdoor furniture, garbage and recycling carts, and any other item that is not secured to the ground.

Make sure that you have disaster kits at home, such as flashlights, batteries, garbage bags, gallons of water, and canned goods.
